New Hope Children's Ministries
Our Mission is to join in a partnership with all families to encourage children to grow toward a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Early Childhood Ministry

Every Sunday Morning we welcome your children into a loving, nurturing, and safe environment. Infants through 2 years old are cared for according to their development level. Children 3 years through kindegarten learn stories about God, pray, make crafts, and have play time with other children in their age group.

Sunday Morning for Nursery & Preschool

  • Nursery available for Birth - 2 years at 9:00 and 10:30 am.
We recommend parents bring a diaper bag and bottle, both labeled with your child's name. Please feel welcome to bring any comfort items your child might have such as a blanket or pacifier. You will also want to bring a change of clothes for your child just in case it is needed.
  • Wee Celebrate at 9:00 for ages 3 years-Kindergarten in room 160. An exciting mini-worship service where little ones sing, listen to a message presented on their level, and learn to pray.
  • Bible Studies for 2 years - Kindergarten at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings. Each week overflows with imagination as your child learns about the Bible through games, crafts, age-appropriate Bible lessons and application activities. Our preschool environment has been creatively designed and programmed to connect with your preschoolers needs.

We are blessed to be able to participate in this ministry with your little ones. If you have any questions or would like additional information regarding this area, or if you would like to teach or can volunteer even a little of your time please contact Shelley Parks.

Elementary Ministry

We love children at New Hope and seek to provide a safe and fun environment for them to learn about God and His Word. Our Elementary Ministry serves all 1st – 5th graders. It is our sincerest desire that every child feel welcomed and loved by our church family. As we teach and apply sound Biblical truth that children can relate to, they will discover that this is a place to make new friends and develop good relationships with their leaders. We want them to know they belong. Our Elementary activities coincide with the Adult Sunday Morning Bible Studies and Worship Service. For more information contact our Director of Elementary Ministries Sheri Randall.

Sunday Morning for 1st-5th Graders

  • Grade level Bible Studies classes – 9:00-10:15 am
  • Kidz Konnection (Room #242) – 10:15-11:45 am

k_k-logo-art.gif Kidz Konnection

Kidz Konnection is a relationship-driven worship program that seeks to connect kids to God, their leaders, and to other children. Each week kids worship, hear a message based on the sermon preached in the main Worship Center, have the opportunity to participate in communion and offering, and are engaged in small group activities that also relate to the message. Our Elementary activities coincide with the Adult Sunday Morning Bible Studies and Worship Service.

Parent’s Toolbox

Parent’s Toolbox is a weekly bulletin insert that offers parents a great discipleship tool that helps parents discuss the Bible and apply truths from Sunday’s sermon with their children. You can find it each week on the back of the Sermon Notes or download it here.
