Recreation Ministry
Introduction – The Recreation Ministry’s mission and goals are consistent with New Hope Christian Church’s Mission of “believing God the Father is working through large and small groups to bring people to Christ, build up their faith, and send them to reach others."
We are an ever growing, ever improving group of volunteers working together to serve our children, our church and our community.
We deem teaching the fundamentals of sports essential to the success of our program; however, the most important component to our sport program is the opportunity to teach children and adults alike about Jesus and His love for each one of us. While we strive to explain in words and by example the concept of teamwork and sportsmanship, we emphasize the power and importance of prayer.
It is our goal to provide a structured environment for God’s children, both young and old. Sports bless us with a crucial example that through both winning and losing, through joy and hardships that God loves us always.
Opportunities to Serve – If you enjoy sports, the recreation ministry is an excellent place for you to serve God and others. Please contact a Recreation Ministry Team Leader for available opportunities.

child might have such as a blanket or pacifier. You will also want to
bring a change of clothes for your child just in case it is needed.

week overflows with imagination as your child learns about the Bible
through games, crafts, age-appropriate Bible lessons and application
activities. Our preschool environment has been creatively designed and

little ones. If you have

Elementary Ministry
We love children at New Hope and seek to provide a safe and fun
environment for them to learn about God and His Word. Our Elementary
Ministry serves all 1st – 5th graders. It is our sincerest desire that
every child feel welcomed and loved by our church family. As we teach
and apply sound Biblical truth that children can relate to, they will
discover that this is a place to make new friends and develop good
relationships with their leaders. We want them to know they belong. Our Elementary activities coincide with the Adult Sunday Morning Bible Studies and Worship Service. For more information contact our Director of Elementary Ministries Sheri Randall.
Sunday Morning for 1st-5th Graders

- Kidz Konnection (Room #242) – 10:15-11:45 am
Kidz Konnection
Kidz Konnection is a relationship-driven worship program that seeks to connect kids to God, their leaders, and to other children. Each week kids worship, hear a
message based on the sermon preached in the main Worship Center, have the opportunity to participate in communion and offering, and are engaged in small group activities that also relate to the message. Our Elementary activities coincide with the Adult Sunday Morning Bible Studies and Worship Service.
Parent’s Toolbox
Parent’s
Toolbox is a weekly bulletin insert that offers parents a great
discipleship tool that helps parents discuss the Bible and apply truths
from Sunday’s sermon with their children. You can find it each week on
the back of the Sermon Notes or download it here.

New Hope's worship ministry exists for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our desire is to create a musical environment conducive to genuine worship in the life of His church. This can only happen as we are submitted to His will and empowered by His Holy Spirit.
We believe that worship is the act of displaying our reverence to God. With this in mind, the focus of our Worship Ministry is to bring the body of Christ into the presence of the Lord, displaying our love and devotion to Him.
The Worship Ministry's vision is focused first on serving the needs of our local congregation through worship services, concerts, and special events, yet is missionary minded with plans to reach to the local, regional, and global community as Jesus guides, enables, and provides.
Our worship during the service is not limited to music, but we continue our worship and praise to God through communion and offering. We feel these two elements are an act of worship also.
