Freedom & Limits - 1 Corinthians 8:1-13, 10:31 Freedom in Christ. Freedom from sin. Freedom from our past. Freedom from legalism. But our freedoms have limits. We have freedom in the US. We have freedom of speech and yet can't go into a public building and yell, "fire!" if there isn't a fire. So in our faith, there are things that we have freedom in, i.e. to drink beer. But there may well be limits if that would cause someone younger in the faith to stumble. I am free to smoke, but I need to always be aware that I should not trip up someone younger in the faith with my freedom.
