Living in Mediocrity or Living in Giftedness - 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 14:1-5 The early church in Corinth had taken gifts from the Holy Spirit and had created chaos with them. Instead of their worship services being God honoring, they seem to be ego driven and disorderly. God expects to be honored when they meet together but they are abusing the gift of speaking in tongues; they are having trouble in focusing on God and making it a "show time" for self. The disease is worship that is "me" centered and the medication is to have worship that is God centered and is orderly and respectful.
