Christians have doubts from
time to time. We struggle with the battles of life and death and
relationships. That is what this whole book has been talking
about. But Paul says that our hope, our faith is real. Our faith is
genuine. Why? Because the resurrection happened. It is historical fact.
Eyewitnesses, lots of them. Paul says that there were over 500 of them.
Most of the 500 at the time of this writing were still alive. His point
was this: If there was no resurrection
then all this church stuff and faith is a joke. We are fools. But if
the resurrection is real, and it is, then we have hope. Hope beyond
this life. Death has been "cured".
