Evolution Is a Scientific Fact Genesis 1, Isaiah 42: 5, Psalm 148: 1-6 Point of View: If you watch virtually any show on TV or pick up any national magazine you will have the theory of evolution presented & stated as fact. The world is presented as millions, even billions, of years old. People are presented as being the evolutionary descendents of chimps & apes. The dilemma isn't that there are people who deny God's existence- rather that we teach children & adults alike that "there is no God who created this world, or you, or who cares about you. We are simply part, a small part, of the evolutionary chain." If there is no God who created us, then we are in charge. We are the apex of all that is on earth. We make our own rules, not some mythological God. But if there is God, God who is powerful enough to create this earth & all the universe- then God alone has the right & power to tell us how to live.
