"It Takes a Village to Raise a Child" Scripture - Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Judges 2:2-6, 10-12 For all the parenting books out there, the one we have neglected is the Bible. That parents are to instill the values and faith for th their children. Too often parents have abdicated their responsibility to be "the teacher", "the mentor" for their children and have tried to turn it over to: schools, clubs, athletics, and teams of various kinds. Parents must recognize their singular greatest role as teachers, gudes, mentors, disciplinarians, spiritual teachers, and values providers.
