Handling Commitment and Temptation Mark 1:9-13 Jesus made a commitment to live and die for God's purposes. His baptism marked the beginning of His ministry with His apprentices. We will do some explanation about immersion/baptism. We will look at how Christ handled temptation. What are the things we need to keep in our minds an hearts as we face temptation and what was it that kept Christ strong in the face of His temptations? James 1 and Matthew 4 give us insight into both. As Christ followers, we made a commitment, but we need to be aware that our enemy will do everything possible to distract us from our new life.
