Unfortunately, what seems to describe far too many churches (and therefore too many Christ followers) is that we act with a contentious spirit. Too many are hard and spiteful, or even morose. Into a world that has people calling each other names, we are called to a depth of gentleness. Sharing Jesus isn't about winning an argument, it's about reconciling people to God. Jesus described Himself as gentle. Proverbs tells us that a gentle answer turns away wrath. Again, we live in a world of self promotion and aggrandizement - yet Jesus calls us to an inner quality of gentleness. Click here to download the audio file
