In His People Luke 2:8-18 There are those people who seem to drive us crazy at Christmas time. They are just like the relatives in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. They are related but we aren't sure why. One of my favorite groups of people in the first Christmas story is the shepherds. Not the most popular group, not the group that was the most successful, but in God's way - they get the invitation to the very first Christmas. God unwraps His gift for everyone - not just the cleaned up religious types, but all people. Sometimes we forget. Sometimes we are under the impression that God cares about others, but not us. We aren't good enough, we aren't sharp enough, we aren't religious enough. But the gift that was unwrapped 2,000 years ago is for all people. right click > "save as.." to download the audio file |
