Show Me Some I.D. John 1:1-5, 14, 29-34 Jesus is described in this chapter as: the Word, the Lamb of God, Light, the One and Only who came from the Father, and God Himself. Jesus created this world and us, and yet He was not recognized as the creator. We see that Christ's coming was not an accident, His ministry was not an accident, His life was not an accident. Everything was with purpose. His purpose was to redeem us to God and to give us the opportunity to spend eternity with Him. As God's children, we aren't an accident. We have purpose, we are loved by God, by His Word, Jesus Christ, and He gives us His strength to live out His plans and purposes that have eternal consequences. right click > "save as.." to download the audio file |
