New Hope Christian Church is a place that you can call home. We want you to feel comfortable as God leads you to become a part of the family called New Hope. One of our top priorities is to assist you in becoming a growing disciple of Jesus Christ. In order to assist you in that journey of faith, we offer you several different ministries which can help you grow in your faith. Life Groups are small groups of people (adults, children and youth) who meet on a weekly basis to worship, fellowship,, minister to one another and the surrounding community together. Most of the time they apply the principles that are heard during the Sunday morning sermons to everyday life during the meeting times. These small groups of people become life long friends as they live life together. The purpose of these groups is to experience Jesus through mutual encouragement, regular worship, and regular opportunities for ministry. Bibles Studies provide another opportunity for Christian education and connection to other people within the church. Some Bible Studies are topical in nature where marriage, parenting, Christian life, and other life topics are explored from a biblical perspective. Some groups meet on a regular basis to study specific books of the Bible. The purpose of our Bible Studies is to grow you in your relationship with God through His Word and relationships with other people. Women’s Ministry provides multiple opportunities for women to connect to and encourage each other in their relationships with God. This ministry provides seasonal weekday Bible Studies every Spring and Fall, as well as periodic studies on Sunday Mornings. At various times throughout the year, the Women’s Ministry offers opportunities for ladies to fellowship together and be encouraged through special speakers and events. Each year the Women’s Ministry hosts an outreach event designed to minister to women around our community. The purpose of the Women’s Ministry is to connect women to one another and God through Bible Study and fellowship. Men’s Ministry provides men with the opportunity to encourage each other in their faith as they meet to study the Bible together. Currently, we have a men’s group that meets on Sunday mornings and a group that meets on Thursday nights at 7pm at the church. Senior Adult Ministry allows seniors to encourage, assist and fellowship with each other. Every third Thursday of the month they meet for lunch, worship, and occasionally ahve a guest speaker from the community. They meet every Sunday morning at 9 for Bible Study. The church gives 12% of its budget to various mission opportunities. Part of our church vision is to spread the gospel throughout our community, country, and world. Therefore, the purpose of our missions focus is to direct us outward to the needs that people have here and abroad. We do that through supporting several different missions locally, regionally, and globally. |
