Exciting News from
Japan!
Six months ago we launched Mustard Seed Christian Church not
knowing who
would show up – if anybody. Since that time we have had new people
come to church almost every week and have already celebrated 3
baptisms. And as you probably read in last month’s update, we have
now run out of space in our current location. Up till now, we have
been meeting in a sports bar that can seat 36 people, but this
past week
we had 48 people there! It’s a wonderful problem to have! So we
asked you to pray that God would provide a new place.
He has answered your
prayers! We have secured a new place to meet at
starting
from August 1st. The location is a dance studio that is
conveniently
located very close to our current location. You can see the

for the new location here. The new place will allow us to seat
around 100 people. We are very excited about this move and what it
will mean for the potential growth of God’s church in Japan. As
excited as we are about the growth and new location, we now have
new
financial needs that need to be met quickly, and we’re asking for
your help.

How You Can Help
Specifically, renting this new location is going to cost us about
$650
dollars more per month than what we were previously paying.
Moreover, our previous location already had the following items
that
we now need to buy:
- Projector
and projector stand
- Projector
screen
- Sound
board
- Power
amp and monitors
- Chairs
and tables
Recently,
we taught on the importance of giving at Mustard Seed Christian
Church.
It was amazing to see people respond to the message and begin to
give
regularly to the church. We want you to know that the church is
going to
be giving sacrificially to these expenses as well. We don't yet
have the
funds to cover the expenses of this move, but are completely maxed
out of
space. We are asking if you would consider partnering with the
church to
make sure there is room for more people to come hear the gospel
and join
God's family.
In total we have around $8,000 in new one time needs as well as
the
increased monthly costs to rent the new location. Would you please
